LA POSADA DE GASPAR offers accommodation on a room-by-room basis in the district of Maragatería right in the Leon mountains. This medieval building dates back to the 17th century and was formerly a pilgrims' hostel.
The building was completely refurbished in 1991 using traditional building elements such as slate, stone and wood. It now welcomes visitors to a region that is characterised by its peace and quiet, its wooded countryside and its rural atmosphere.
LA POSADA DE GASPAR is classed as a royal inn, a category established by the Regional Government of Castile-Leon.
The centre can sleep up to 30 guests in 11 double rooms, 4 of which have a balcony. All the rooms are equipped with: - Full Bathroom. - Telephone. - Television. - Hair dryer. Cots and 11 extra folding beds are also available.

Entering along the Calle Real street you will find the 18th century Chapel of San José inside which is an image of Saint James. The house was formerly the , and the so-called "four corners" where Felipe II was once a guest. The parish church stands out for its 12th century Romanesque apse and you can still hear Gregorian mass. Rabanal del Camino is right on St. James' Way (Camino de Santiago). The "Códex Calixtinus" (first tourist guide for St. James' Way) placed it at the end of the ninth stage.
